Lesotho national team coach Thabo Senong has named a provisional team of 29 players that will start preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin.
Feb 10 (Futaa) – Lesotho, fondly referred to as Likoena, will travel to Porto Novo for the Group L encounter on March 23.
Senong has gone for a blend of experience and youth as he seeks to build a strong team that can mount a credible campaign in the qualifiers.
Nigeria comfortably leads the group with six points from two matches while Benin is second with three points. Both Lesotho and Sierra Leone have picked a point apiece.
